Mid-Island Air Search & Rescue
Challenge
Mid-Island Air Search & Rescue (MIASAR) provides lifesaving search and rescue efforts on Vancouver Island, BC. Their active volunteer base and supporters needed a way to connect to each other, and they needed a platform from which to tell their story, share successes, raise funds and organize key materials for volunteers.
Their existing website was outdated, not responsive, and didn’t accommodate their need for a secure volunteer area. They needed a fresh start.
Solution
An integrated public facing and volunteer website with a public site and secure area for volunteers. Â
We built a brand new responsive website that:
- Presents a very professional image to the public
- Incorporates analytics so they could track web traffic
- Has a blog for event and storytelling activities
- Has a secure login area for members to access key materials and resources
